these days western medicine and how my local hospitals work /operate scare me big time. add to it dealing with the health-insurance and pharmaceutical co and and you get me running away so fast...

i think i keep the headaches ;P

Sometime ago I wrote on a model/photographer's forum how I missed the grain "Tri-x film" produces.

Immediately I was ridiculed by the young (and punk!) photographers: "we pay thousand of dollars for latest DSLR's to get less grain and noise..."

Well, here its!
The results from my first roll developed. And after over 20 something years, shot with a Nikon f3 (which is almost 30 years old and was my first pro camera ever) and some Tri-x film all manual

the notion that we punish anyone who goes against social grain is nothing new... perhaps best example of this would be crucification of Jesus.
this concept has been in my mind for a longtime and finally a few month ago i asked Model Odette to pose for this project and she gracefully executed this very difficult pose.

while every aspect of this image is exactly as i wanted it, i am not sure how i feel about the final image itself, perhaps when i get it printed; i'll make my mind :)
